Another Excellent Product from Medactil Jul 27, 2010
I have a surgical scar that is about 2 years old and have tried dozens of products, including cortizone cream, to try to reduce the ongoing pain and skin irritation at the site. After having a very successful outcome using neumactil for my asthma symptoms (which have still not returned-see my review of neumactil), I decided to give this product a try. The first day I had amazing relief from the constant pain and skin irritation. I used to have to put 4-5 different ointments and medications on the site daily just to keep it barely under control. For months now, polyactil is the only product I have used, and I am completely free of all pain and skin irritation for the first time since I had the surgery. I am very grateful for such a wonderful product, and the concern and service ethic of the company is remarkable. My 20 year old son also had several old cuts that were causing him pain. After using polyactil daily, he has no more pain, and it looks as though the scarring is reducing, although this is a slower process. I can't praise the people of this company or their products highly enough.

I use this product for so many things. Cuts, scraps and so much more, including putting it on my face daily to control 'everything bad'. I also use it for anything swollen ... if I get an ear, sinus or throat infection, I massage Polyactil externally to help with the pain and swelling. It works. It makes injuries heal faster than any other product I have every used and has a major impact on pain. The pain of small injuries vanishes completely. I also use it on sore muscles. It is as advertised. I'm an EMT and am familiar with many topical first aid products. It's a mind bender that Polyactil can do so many things, but when you read the product description, it starts to make sense. My first use of Polyactil was for a bad burn (boiling alfredo sauce) from my elbow to my wrist. A guest had Polyactil in her purse. I used it 3 times, about an hour apart, right after the accident; each time the pain got better and better. The next day, the whole area looked like a wound that was several days old ... sort of dry and not oozy like new burns can look. The pain was much more under control than I expected. I applied Polyactil a couple of times a day until it healed. No scar at all. It never got infected. Something especially unusual is that it helps bruises, taking the soreness out and speeding up the healing time. I recommend the product.

Always in my purse ... Jul 10, 2010
I first tried Polyactil when my little one got a big red whelp on his thigh from his diaper or his jumpie. It seemed to help his pain and the whelp cured right away. Since then I've used it for so many things ... burns, cuts, skinned knees, etc. I pulled my fingernail a little loose from the tissue underneath and it was so sore; but I squeezed Polyactil under the nail tip and the pain was so much better that I forgot all about it. As a busy Mom, I just carry Polyactil in my purse all the time.
